Suryakumar Yadav will get big responsibility

Recently, under the captaincy of Suryakumar, Team India toured South Africa for a four-match T20 series, in which the players performed well and won 3-1. After this, now captain
Suryakumar Yadav has turned to domestic cricket. He will be seen playing in the tournament starting this month. Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy 2024 will start from November 23, in which Sky will represent the Mumbai team. He will be available for SMAT matches in December and knockout matches for Mumbai.

Suryakumar Yadav was a flop as a batsman in South Africa

Suryakumar flopped as a batsman on the South Africa tour. He scored only 26 runs in three innings of three matches of the series. However, during this time his leadership impressed everyone. Because of this, Suryakumar Yadav’s captaincy was also praised a lot. After Rohit Sharma’s retirement from T20, he was given the responsibility of captaincy. Under his leadership, India has not lost any series so far. Before South Africa, Team India had defeated Bangladesh and Sri Lanka. At the same time, now he will try to return to his form by batting explosively in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy 2024.

Mumbai Indians have retained

It is worth noting that till some time ago there were reports that Suryakumar Yadav may leave Mumbai Indians to captain in IPL 2025. But the franchise has put an end to all these speculations by retaining him. MI has kept SKY with them by paying Rs 16.35 crore. Apart from him, Rohit Sharma, Jaspreet Bumrah, Tilak Verma and Hardik Pandya will also be seen in the Mumbai Indians jersey in IPL 2025.
