Kl Rahul: The bugle of IPL 2025 is going to be blown in some time. Soon the names of the retained players of all the teams will be revealed. However, it is not going to be easy for the franchise to choose their five best players. Because for this they will have to spend a huge amount of money.

Fans want to see Virat Kohli becoming the winner for the first time in IPL 2025. At the same time, KL Rahul is also likely to join RBB. Now Dinesh Karthik has clarified his opinion on Virat and Rahul playing together.

Karthik wants to include KL Rahul in the team

Former Indian cricketer and current commentator Dinesh Karthik has given his reaction on KL Rahul joining the RCB team. Along with this, he has also expressed his desire to see Virat Kohli lifting the IPL trophy for the first time. Actually, RCB mentor Karthik was asked on Cricbuzz that who should win the IPL trophy first between Virat Kohli and KL Rahul ? Answering this question, Karthik said,

” Virat Kohli is part of my team. I pray to God that Virat Kohli wins the trophy first. If KL Rahul is in the team , it will be better.”

Let us tell you that Dinesh Karthik has been associated with the Bangalore team for many years, while currently he is in the role of mentor of the team.

Since IPL 2024, there have been speculations that Rahul may leave the Lucknow team. Last season, there was a little argument between LSG owner Sanjeev Goenka and him in the middle of the field. This dispute had increased so much that after the end of the season, Rahul distanced himself from the entire LSG team.

Rahul is the captain of the Lucknow Super Giants team since 2022. He has played 37 matches for this team so far in which he has scored 1410 runs with 2 centuries. On the other hand, if we talk about his IPL career, then Rahul has so far scored 4683 runs in 132 IPL matches at a strike rate of 134.60.
