Shikhar Dhawan was a member of the Indian team that won the Champions Trophy in 2013. This dashing batsman played a key role in helping India win the title. In 2013, he played 5 matches including the final, in which he scored 363 runs at an impressive average of 90.75 and an explosive strike rate of 101.39, which included two centuries and a half-century.

 In 2017 too, he was the highest run scorer for India in this tournament. Shikhar (Shikhar Dhawan) played five matches for India in 2017, including the final, in which he scored 338 runs at a strong average of 67.60, which included a century and two half-centuries. Shikhar was awarded the Golden Bat title in both tournaments.
