In the first T20 match played against South Africa, Indian batsman Sanju Samson wreaked havoc on the bowlers. After losing the toss and batting first, Team India lost their first wicket at a score of 24 runs, after which Sanju Samson took charge and played a stormy innings and made a major contribution in taking the team’s scoreboard to 202. Due to this, his innings was praised a lot on social media. On the other hand, young batsman Abhishek Sharma had to face criticism.

After winning the toss, Aiden Markram invited India to bat first, after which the team’s start was not very good. Before the completion of ten overs, the Indian team lost two wickets. In the 3.1 over, Gerald Katzi got young batsman Abhishek Sharma out at the hands of captain Aiden Markram.

He could score only seven runs in eight balls. Cricket fans were very upset with his innings, due to which he was trolled a lot on social media. Captain Suryakumar Yadav’s bat also could not do anything special. He was successful in scoring 21 runs in 17 balls.

Sanju Samson got the support of captain Suryakumar Yadav and Tilak Verma during his stormy innings. He had half-century partnerships of 66 runs and 77 runs respectively with these two. He scored 107 runs in 50 balls at a strike rate of 214, which includes seven fours and ten sixes. Indian fans were very happy with his innings and were seen praising him. At the same time, Tilak Verma was able to contribute 33 runs in 18 balls. In the end, Hardik Pandya scored 2 runs and Rinku Singh scored 11 runs, taking the Indian team’s score to 202.  

African bowlers struggled 

After Abhishek Sharma’s wicket fell, South African bowlers had to struggle a lot to take wickets. Sanju Samson stood at one end and kept India’s innings afloat. However, after Tilak Verma was out in 14.4, Team India’s wickets started falling. In the very next over, Sanju Samson also returned to the pavilion.
