Rohit Sharma made the official announcement
Rohit , who is considered one of the most successful captains of Team India, has become a father once again. His wife Ritika Sajdeh has given birth to a son. Rohit Sharma himself has confirmed this and shared this information with everyone on social media. While sharing the post on the social media site Instagram, he has put the date of November 15. Due to this, he had excluded himself from the first test to be held in Perth.
Will Rohit Sharma play in the second test?
Rohit will not be seen in action in the Perth Test and in his place, Team India will be led by fast bowler Jaspreet Bumrah. But after this, Rohit will be seen playing in the second Test to be held at Adelaide Oval. This Test is going to start from 6 December. Let us tell you that the first Test will end on the 26th and after this there will be 10 days for the second Test. Rohit will have enough time to adapt himself to the Australian conditions.
Rohit Sharma’s form will be monitored
Everyone will once again be keeping an eye on the form of Indian captain Sharma. Rohit’s recent performance in Test cricket has been very disappointing. If Team India has to win the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, then captain Rohit’s bat needs to perform well. Sharma has scored only 133 runs in the last 10 innings of Tests. His bat remained silent in the series against Bangladesh and New Zealand on Indian soil.
