Rishabh Pant: 
In 2016, for the first time, star wicketkeeper batsman Rishabh Pant joined 
the IPL 
franchise 
Delhi Capitals . 
Since then, he has remained the most prominent batsman of this team. He has also captained this team in the last few seasons. But now after 8 years, Rishabh and Delhi Capitals seem to be parting ways. Pant is having a debate with the team owner on an issue which is quite surprising.

Because of this, there is no agreement between Rishabh Pant 
and DC

According to reports, there is a debate going on between Rishabh and Delhi Capitals regarding the retention price. Pant is not happy with the amount of money DC is offering him before the season. Delhi retained Pant before the auction in 2022 with an amount of 16 crores. This time it is believed that Pant is not the first retention for the team at present, whose price has been fixed at 18 crores. 

Rishabh Pant met the owner of DC

Meanwhile, a formal meeting took place between Rishabh and the owner of Delhi Capitals. After which the news came out that Pant does not want to be retained for the amount fixed by the franchise. However, before this it is also believed that in IPL 2025, Akshar Patel can be seen captaining Delhi in place of Pant. For this, news of Akshar being retained before Pant started coming out. However, no official announcement was made about this.

has played 111 IPL matches 

in which he has scored 3284 runs at an average of 
35.31 
and a strike rate of 148.93 
. Along with this, he has hit 296 sixes in this league.
