“Old form is back” Virat Kohli got out after scoring 7 runs, fans got angry and reprimanded him on social media

Virat Kohli: Australian bowlers dominated the second match of the Border Gavaskar Trophy 2024-25, which started on 6 December. Mitchell Starc put pressure on Team India by bowling lethally. Meanwhile, the bat of dashing batsman Virat also failed. While he was expected to play a stormy innings in Adelaide, he returned to the pavilion after scoring seven runs. Due to this, he (Virat Kohli) also had to face trolling on social media. 

Virat Kohli’s bat remained silent 

The second match of the Border Gavaskar Trophy 2024-25 is being played at the Adelaide Oval . Indian captain Rohit Sharma won the toss and chose to bat first, after which the batsmen had to struggle a lot to score runs. Meanwhile, Perth Test match centurions Yashasvi Jaiswal and Virat Kohli flopped badly. Australian fast bowler Mitchell Starc emerged as a nightmare for both the batsmen. After getting Yashasvi Jaiswal out for a duck, he sent Virat to the pavilion with a personal score of seven runs. 

Virat Kohli became the victim of Mitchell Starc 

Mitchell Starc bowled the 21st over of India’s innings. He bowled the first ball of the over to Virat Kohli . The Indian batsman tried to leave the short ball bowled by him outside the off stump. But the ball bounced and took the outside edge of the bat with extra bounce and went towards the second slip.

In such a situation, Steve Smith, who was fielding there, caught the catch of Virat without making any mistake and with this India got the third blow at the score of 77 runs. After getting out after scoring 7 runs, King Kohli had to face a lot of criticism on social media.
