Nitish Kumar Reddy: In the Border Gavaskar Trophy 2024-25 played in Perth, the Indian batsmen disappointed the audience a lot with their performance. The flop innings of Yashasvi Jaiswal, Devdutt Padikkal and Virat Kohli disappointed the fans. But in the meantime, Rishabh Pant and Nitish Kumar played a fighting innings and played an important role in taking Team India’s score board to 150. Fans were impressed by the performance of both of them and were seen praising them on social media.

The Border Gavaskar Trophy 2024-25 has started from 22 November . Both the teams are face to face at the Optus Cricket Stadium in Perth. Team India, who came to bat first after winning the toss on the first day, looked in very bad condition. India lost opener Yashasvi Jaiswal as the first wicket on the score of five runs. After this, the process of falling wickets started. However, Rishabh Pant, KL Rahul and Nitish Kumar Reddy kept the team in the match by batting well. 

India scored 150 runs 

Nitish Kumar Reddy and Rishabh Pant had the highest run partnership for Team India. Both of them jointly scored 48 runs in 85 balls for the seventh wicket. No other batsman could make a partnership of up to 20 runs. Nitish Kumar Reddy was India’s top scorer in the first innings with 41 runs. Apart from him, Rishabh Pant scored 37 runs in 78 balls. KL Rahul was out after scoring 26 runs.

Dhruv Jurel contributed 11 runs. Virat Kohli (5), Washington Sundar (4), Harshit Rana (7) and Jaspreet Bumrah (8) could not even touch the double digit mark. Yashasvi Jaiswal and Devdutt Padikkal lost their wickets without opening the account. After Team India was all out for 150 runs, Indian fans were seen praising the fighting innings of Nitish Kumar Reddy and Rishabh Pant.
