  • Indian batsman Sarfaraz Khan has gone on a tour to Australia for the Border Gavaskar Trophy 2024-25. Due to poor form, he has not been able to find a place in the playing XI so far. At the same time, his younger brother has created a stir in India by batting explosively.

Musheer Khan: Sarfaraz Khan is currently part of the Team India squad in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024-25. He has not yet had a chance to play a single match on this tour. Mushir Khan plays domestic cricket for Mumbai. Mushir Khan was known for his long innings. He did something similar in the Ranji Trophy played this year. In February, a Ranji Trophy match was played between Mumbai and Baroda.

Coming at number three in the first innings of this match, Mushir faced 357 balls and played an unbeaten innings of 203 runs. Mumbai was all out for 384 runs in the first innings, out of which 203 runs came from Mushir Khan’s bat. Mushir’s innings included 18 fours. After scoring a double century in the first innings, Mushir’s bat did not stop there. He also made an important contribution of 33 runs in the second innings.

Musheer also bowls

Mumbai’s 19-year-old batsman Mushir Khan not only bats brilliantly but also bowls left-arm spin. After scoring a lot of runs in this match against Baroda, he also bowled 12 overs and gave only 21 runs at an economy of 1.75. During this, he also took one wicket. Although this great match ended in a draw, Mushir has been selected as the Player of the Match for his brilliant all-round performance.

Let us tell you that Mushir made his debut for Mumbai in the year 2022. Since then, he has played 9 first-class matches for his domestic team in which he has scored 716 runs with an excellent average of 51.14. During this, 3 centuries and 1 half-century have also come from his bat. Apart from batting, he has also taken 8 wickets in the same number of matches.

Apart from batting, he also performed brilliantly with bowling. However, India had to face defeat in the final.
