Conway has played under the captaincy of Mahendra Singh Dhoni for 2 years, while Rachin Ravindra got the opportunity to play for CSK for the first time last year under the captaincy of Ruturaj Gaikwad . However, both these players are Dhoni’s disciples. Conway has scored 924 runs in 23 matches for CSK so far at an average of 141.28, while Rachin Ravindra scored 222 runs in 10 matches for CSK last season at a strike rate of 160.86.

A shameful record was registered in the name of Team India

On one hand, while the Kiwi batsmen were seen batting in a dashing manner on the Bengaluru pitch, the Indian batsmen proved to be a complete flop on the same pitch. Five batsmen of the team could not even open their account in the first innings. Due to which India could score only 46 runs in the first innings. With this, this was the lowest score of Team India while playing at home in the history of Test cricket.
