After this series, Team India has to tour Australia for the Border Gavaskar Trophy, but Siraj (Mohammed Siraj) is not likely to get a place on that tour. Mohammed Siraj ruled out of Pune Test
Fast bowler Mohammed Siraj has been dropped from the playing 11 of the Pune Test match being played against New Zealand. His bowling was not showing any edge in the first match. Along with this, his performance has declined a lot this year due to which he was facing the threat of being dropped from the team. In his place, bowler Akashdeep has been included in the team. Siraj is also likely to be dropped from the Australia tour that is going to take place after this.

In view of Mohammed Siraj’s poor performance, he is also likely to be dropped from the Australia tour for the upcoming Border Gavaskar Trophy. Akashdeep is being included in the team in his place.
