A BCCI source told PTI that Rahul was not dropped but was ruled out due to injury. He is now fit and available.
The source said, “KL Rahul scored a century in South Africa, which is one of the best Test innings in recent times and he scored 86 in his last Test in Hyderabad before getting injured. He was not dropped but he got injured. So, he is fit and available, he will start.”
