They spent 1.25 crores for a player like Ishan Kishan. Well, he is also in good form. But, for the player whom they bought for 10 crores, there is suspense over his playing. Kavya Maran is the owner of Sunrisers Hyderabad. She is very active in the mega auction. She herself enters the auction with a special preparation. When she makes up her mind to buy a player, she does not back off from bidding. Something similar was seen in the mega auction held in Dubai this time. They paid Rs 10 crore to buy an Indian player. While knowing that the player is undergoing rehab. That player is none other than Mohammed Shami. The NCA has not yet given its reaction regarding his fitness.  

Could not be a part of IPL 2024 due to injury 

Mohammed Shami underwent surgery after the ODI World Cup final last year. Since then he has been undergoing rehabilitation. Due to this he could not be a part of the Gujarat Titans team last year and had to opt out of IPL 2024. The franchise did not show any interest in retaining him and released him.

At present, he has returned to domestic cricket. But he has not played any international matches yet. It cannot be said right now whether he will be a part of SRH in IPL 2025 or not. If Shami does not play, then the franchise will directly lose Rs 10 crore.
