Kane Williamson Created History: New Zealand cricket team’s experienced batsman Williamson has created history. He has become the first batsman from New Zealand to play the most 50-plus innings in ODIs against India. In a special case, he has surpassed none other than former legendary cricketer Ross Taylor. Taylor had played 50-plus innings 11 times in ODIs against India. At the same time, Williamson has left him behind by crossing the 50-mark against India in Dubai. Till the time of writing the news, Kane Williamson has played 50 plus innings 12 times in ODIs against India. 

After these two legends, the name of former cricketer Nathan Astle comes in third place. Astle has played 50-plus innings 10 times in ODIs against India. Former captain Stephen Fleming is in fourth place. He has scored 50-plus runs nine times.

Kane Williamson managed to score 81 runs

The Kiwi team had a lot of expectations from Kane Williamson in the crucial match against India today (March 2). His bat also performed well during the match. But he managed to return to the pavilion after giving victory to the team. 

During the match, he faced a total of 120 balls while batting in the third position. Meanwhile, he managed to score 81 runs at a strike rate of 67.50. During this, seven fours came off his bat. During the match, Akshar Patel showed him the way to the pavilion by stumping him at the hands of KL Rahul.
