The day that cricket lovers were eagerly waiting for has arrived. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced the schedule of the IPL 2025 mega auction. Two dates for the auction were revealed through a press release on November 15. The mega auction will be held in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia on November 24 and 25. The auction will start at 3 pm Indian time. The BCCI has shortlisted a total of 574 players for this, out of which 336 are Indian cricketers.

So many foreign players were shortlisted
IPL has released the list of shortlisted players on its official website. 208 foreign players will be bid on in the mega auction, out of which 12 will be uncapped foreign players. If we talk about Indian uncapped players, then their number is 318. While 48 Indian capped and 193 foreign capped players have been shortlisted. At the same time, players from three Associate Nations have also been selected for the mega auction. Let us tell you that bids will be placed only on 204 players in the auction. Out of these, 70 slots are for foreign players.
