After winning the toss, Indian captain Smriti Mandhana decided to bat first, after which the team set a target of 228 runs. In response, the Kiwi team’s innings was reduced to 168 runs and it had to face defeat by 59 runs.
IND W vs NZ W: Tejal Hasabnis played a stormy innings
Team India (IND W vs NZ W), who came out to bat first, did not have a good start. India lost the wicket of captain Smriti Mandhana at a score of 12 runs. She scored five runs in seven balls.
