The first match of the three-match T20 series between India and Sri Lanka was played on 27 July, Saturday at the Pallekele International Stadium in Pallekele. In this match, Sri Lankan spinner Kamindu Mendis surprised the cricket world by bowling with both hands. Mendis bowled with left hand to Suryakumar Yadav and with right hand to Rishabh Pant. 

The Sri Lankan spinner was bowling with left hand to right hand batsman and with right hand to left hand batsman. Mendis bowled only one over in the match. However, he became a topic of discussion in that one over. Kamindu Mendis bowled the 10th over in the first innings. He conceded 09 runs in his over. The incident of Mendis bowling with both hands is becoming viral on social media.

Let us tell you that Team India won the first match of the T20 series by 43 runs. In the match played at Pallekele International Stadium, Sri Lanka won the toss and decided to bowl. Batting first, Team India scored 213 runs for 7 wickets in 20 overs. Captain Suryakumar Yadav played the biggest innings for the team, scoring 58 runs in 26 balls. During this, he hit 8 fours and 2 sixes. Apart from Surya, Rishabh Pant played a brilliant innings. Pant scored 49 runs in 33 balls with the help of 6 fours and 1 six. 

Then Sri Lanka came out to chase the target and got all out for 170 runs in 19.2 overs. For Sri Lanka, Pathum Nissanka played an innings of 79 runs with the help of 7 fours and 4 sixes in 48 balls. Apart from this, Kusal Mendis scored 45 runs with the help of 7 fours and 1 six in 27 balls. All the other batsmen were flops. A total of 7 batsmen of the team could not even cross the double digit mark. Out of 7 batsmen, 4 batsmen could not even open their account.
