• IND vs AUS: Team India’s match with Australia is going on in the semi-finals. But in this match, the team’s strong player Axar Patel was injured.

Axar Patel: The first semi-final match of the Champions Trophy 2025 is being played between the Indian team and Australia (IND vs AUS). Team India has come out to the field first after losing the toss. But during fielding, Axar Patel got a neck injury. After which he left the ground. In the Champions Trophy, Axar Patel is performing brilliantly with both the ball and the bat. If Axar’s injury is serious, then it will be a big setback for Team India. 

Axar Patel suffers neck injury

The Indian team is playing the semi-final match (IND vs AUS) against Australia with great enthusiasm. In this knockout match, the fielders of Team India are fielding with full alertness. During this, Akshar Patel got injured while fielding. He got injured in the neck while catching the ball. Marnus Labuschagne played a shot on the right side of the bowler.

Axar Patel tried to catch the ball but couldn’t. Then he chased the ball and turned around to throw it. But he got injured during this. During this, the physio of Team India came to the ground and Axar also went out of the field for some time. However, he came back to bowl later.

Varun Chakravarthy took the wicket of Travis Head

Talking about the match apart from Axar Patel, Australia won the toss and decided to bat first. Australia has scored 125 runs at the loss of 3 wickets till the end of 25 overs. In which Travis Head played an innings of 39 runs in 33 balls. In this inning, the player hit 5 fours and 2 sixes. Cooper Connolly got out on zero. Marnus Labuschagne got out after scoring 29 runs. Steve Smith and Josh Inglis are standing at the crease. For Team India, Varun Chakraborty took the wicket of Travis Head, Ravindra Jadeja took the wicket of Marnus Labuschagne and Mohammad Shami took the wicket of Cooper Connolly.
