IND vs AUS: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced the 16-member squad of Team India for the three-match ODI series between India and Australia ( IND vs AUS) . Some new players have also been included in the squad of Team India selected for the Australian tour starting from December 5. The dreaded opener batsman has also been dropped from this 3-match series .
Shefali Verma dropped from IND vs AUS ODI series
Indian women’s cricket team’s dashing batsman Shefali Verma has not been included in the team for the Australian tour. It is believed that the board has decided to drop her due to poor form. Although it has not been officially confirmed yet, Shefali had scored 56 runs in 3 matches in the last ODI series against New Zealand.
Harleen will return to Team India after almost a year
Smriti Mandhana will be seen in the role of vice-captain in this team led by Harmanpreet Kaur . Apart from her, Harleen Deol has also returned to the team for the ODI series against Australia (IND vs AUS) . She will be seen playing white ball cricket after almost a year. Deol last participated in the three-match home ODI series against Australia in December 2023 .
