RCB had a chance but they have spent only 4.20 crores for Maxwell.

Maxwell parted ways with RCB

Glenn Maxwell, considered to be a fast batsman in T20, did not seem to get much price in the mega auction this time. Punjab team easily included him in their team for Rs 4.20 crore in the auction. The reason for this must have been that his performance was poor in the last season. Chennai team also seemed keen on him but as soon as the money increased, Chennai withdrew its hands.

Glenn Maxwell’s IPL performance

Glenn Maxwell started his IPL career in 2012 with the Delhi team. So far he has played for 4 teams in the IPL. But since 2021, he has joined RCB.
