 Suryakumar Yadav and Travis Head may be known for their explosive batting. But, they have not yet been able to do the miracle of scoring the fastest century in ODI cricket. But, a New Zealand player has made this record in his name. Whose name is Corey Anderson? He played a historic innings against West Indies in the year 2014. Which is still remembered in the world of cricket.

Corey Anderson completed his ODI century in just 36 balls. During this, 14 fours and 6 sixes were also seen from his bat. With this, Corey Anderson has come to the second position in terms of scoring the fastest century. While AB de Villiers is in the first position they scored a century in 31 balls. In third place is Pakistan’s Shahid Afridi who scored a century against Sri Lanka in 36 balls. 

 New Zealand beat West Indies by 159 runs 

New Zealand won the third ODI against West Indies by 159 runs. The hero of this victory was Corey Anderson. He ensured victory by scoring an unbeaten 131 runs in 47 balls. He was also selected Man of the Match for this inning. Let us tell you that New Zealand scored 283 runs while batting first.

In response, the West Indies team scored only 124 runs. No Caribbean batsman could perform well in this match, although captain Dwayne Bravo contributed 56 runs, but could not save his team from defeat. In the end, New Zealand won this match by a huge margin of 159 runs.
