- Border-Gavaskar Trophy: There can be big changes in Team India’s squad for the Border-Gavaskar Trophy. The board may consider sending its three dreaded players to Australia soon.
Border-Gavaskar Trophy:
Before the Border-Gavaskar Trophy to be played against Australia from November 22, Team India ‘s problems are not decreasing. The form of the players remains the biggest problem for the selectors. Senior players are also struggling with form.
The batting of some players who went to Australian soil before the Border-Gavaskar Trophy has also been exposed. Keeping this in mind, the board may think about making some big changes in the Indian squad. Due to which some experienced and big players may be seen returning to the team.
These players will have entry in Team India
For the BGT, the BCCI can suddenly make three of its most experienced players enter the team. The first name in this is Cheteshwar Pujara . Pujara has been a legendary batsman of Indian Test cricket. He is also known for giving a tough time to the Kangaroos.
Pujara played an important role in Team India’s victory in the 2021-22 Border-Gavaskar Trophy. Apart from him, Hardik Pandya can be prepared for red ball cricket. Pandya has been away from Test cricket since 2018, but the team is in dire need of a fast bowling all-rounder. T Natarajan can also get a place in BGT for fast bowling .
These players will be out of Border-Gavaskar Trophy
With the return of Cheteshwar Pujara, Hardik Pandya and Mukesh Kumar, three players may have to sit out of the Test series against Australia. This includes the names of KL Rahul , Mohammed Siraj and Nitish Kumar Reddy . KL Rahul and Mohammed Siraj have been struggling with poor form for a long time. Nitish Kumar Reddy’s performance against Australia A has also been poor.
