Team India is currently playing a 3-match T20 series against Bangladesh. In the first match of this series, two players made their debut for Team India. Fast bowler Mayank Yadav and all-rounder Nitish Reddy played their first matches for India.
But this is not the first time that a player has made his debut for Team India. Even before this, many players have made their debut for Team India. Like fast bowler Mayank Yadav, there were three more fast bowlers who have made their debut for India but all three are currently out of the team. The career of all three bowlers seems to be lost in the unknown darkness. Let’s know who are these bowlers…
Before Mayank Yadav, these 3 players created a ruckus
Umran Malik
Like Mayank Yadav, Umran Malik also entered Team India through IPL. When he was seen bowling in the IPL for the first time, everyone praised his speed. Due to this, he got a chance to play in Team India against Ireland in the year 2022. But his career did not flourish much. Due to poor form and frequent injuries, he had to be dropped from the team. He has played only 8 T20 and 10 ODIs for Team India.
Navdeep Saini
Navdeep Saini also made a place in Team India on the basis of his strong performance in domestic cricket and IPL. But now he is also out of the team. Navdeep has played 11 T20, 8 ODIs and 2 Test matches for India. Navdeep Saini’s journey with Team India, which started in the year 2019, ended in the year 2021. Since then, till date, he has not been given a chance to play in Team India again.
T Natarajan
T Natarajan, famous as India’s Yorker King, has also had the same situation in the Indian team. Like Mayank Yadav, he also made a place in Team India on the basis of his excellent bowling in the IPL but could not stay with the team for long. Once out of the team due to injury, it becomes almost impossible for fast bowlers to return. Natarajan made his debut for India in the year 2020 and played his last match against England in the year 2021.
