After Fakhar Zaman was dropped from the Pakistan cricket team, Imam ul Haq was selected as the opening batsman. There were high expectations from him that he would give a great start against India. Imam played a fuller ball at mid-on. He waved the ball and ran to take a run. But, Axar Patel was stationed as a fielder. He hit the direct throw on the wickets. Imam tried his best to reach the crease by playing lay-die. But, he could not succeed and he had to return to the pavilion after scoring 10 runs in 26 balls.
