Jay Shah: Jay Shah, who was the secretary of BCCI, has taken over as the new chairman of ICC. He has been working on this post since December 1. After becoming the ICC chairman, he has taken a big decision, which will once again blow the senses of Pakistan. Because he has given such a decision to the Pakistan Cricket Board, which will be no less than an earthquake for them. Now what is this decision, let us tell you?
Jay Shah announced a big decision against Pakistan
In fact, amid the ongoing debate over hosting the Champions Trophy, the Pakistan Cricket Board has given a big blow to the BCCI. The BCCI has strongly opposed the PCB’s condition on the hybrid model for the tournament in February-March next year and said that if India does not come to Pakistan, then Pakistan will not play in India in future tournaments organized by the BCCI. On this, the BCCI has sent a message to ICC Chairman Jay Shah that there is no threat to security in India and hence there is no question of accepting such a demand.

Champions Trophy will be played in hybrid model
Let us tell you that the PCB has recently agreed to organize the Champions Trophy in hybrid mode, allowing India to play its matches at neutral venues after refusing to travel to Pakistan for the tournament due to security concerns. However, Pakistan demanded from ICC chairman Jay Shah that in return they will also not play in India in future tournaments organized by the BCCI.
Many tournaments are organized in India
The Telegraph, quoting a source, has claimed in its report that the BCCI has sent a clear message to ICC (Jay Shah) officials in this regard, which has created a new deadlock. It is worth noting that a virtual meeting of the ICC Board was held last Friday, but it ended in just 15 minutes after the PCB rejected the hybrid model.
However, later he agreed to play on that hybrid model, but he put a condition that he too would not play in India in future. According to the information, India will host the Women’s ODI World Cup next year and the T20 World Cup jointly with Sri Lanka in 2026. The 2029 Champions Trophy and the 2031 ODI World Cup are also to be played in India.
