Coming back to bowl in the third over, he trapped Mumbai’s star batsman Ayush Mhatre. He took two wickets for 9 runs in his first two overs. It seemed that the team would recover from this, as Mumbai’s batting order was strong. But this prediction faded in front of Arshdeep.

In the fifth over, Arshdeep got a big fish in the form of Suryakumar Yadav. Suryakumar Yadav returned without opening his account after facing five balls. Shreyas Iyer also could not face this young bowler. Arshdeep cleanly bowled him. Then he trapped Shivam Dubey in his net and ended the remaining hopes of the Mumbai team.
