Anil Kumble: The New Zealand team created history by defeating India 3-0 in the 3-match Test series. In the history of Test cricket, New Zealand became the first team to clean sweep India in their own home. After the defeat in the Mumbai Test, Team India ‘s hopes of reaching the final of the ICC World Test Championship have suffered a major setback.
Team India will have to win 4 out of 5 matches against Australia to reach the WTC final. After the shameful performance of the Indian batsmen on the spin pitch against the Kiwi team, former coach and legendary player Anil Kumble has reprimanded captain Rohit Sharma and Gautam Gambhir .
Anil Kumble got angry at Rohit Sharma and Gautam Gambhir
Anil Kumble has questioned Rohit and Gambhir for making the Wankhede pitch too turner than necessary in the third Test between India and New Zealand. He lashed out at these two legends and said, ”
Don’t blame the batsmen ,
you give a good turning pitch and expect them to score 150 runs in the fourth innings , the captain and coach should be asked why they gave a good turning pitch when you know that your batsmen are not in form.”
"Don't blame the batters, you give a rank turner and expect them to chase 150 in the 4th innings, captain and coach should be asked why they gave rank turner when you know your batters are out of form"

Anil Kumble praised the New Zealand team
After registering a spectacular win against Team India, Anil Kumble praised the Kiwi team. He said that ,
” New Zealand is a team that has travelled really well when they come to India. Everyone has something to say about New Zealand. But this was a series where they dominated. Yes , of course it was just by 25 runs , but you have to give credit to the way they tackled the pitches , the conditions , the bowling.”
Team India could not even achieve the target of 147 runs
Talking about the Mumbai Test, Team India needed 147 runs to win this match. But the Indian batsmen fell before the spin bowlers of the Kiwi team. In the second innings, the Indian team was restricted to 121 runs. Rishabh Pant played the highest innings of 64 runs.
Apart from him, only Rohit Sharma and Washington Sundar could touch the double digit mark. 9 out of 10 batsmen of Team India were out against spin bowling. Ejaz Patel from New Zealand took 11 wickets in the match. He was selected as the Player of the Match for this performance.
