Tanush Kotian: BCCI has announced Team India for the remaining two Test matches in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024-25. Only one change has been made in the team for the last two matches. After the Brisbane Test, Ravichandran Ashwin said goodbye to international cricket, after which he returned home the next day. Now in his place, Tanush Kotian, who plays domestic cricket from Mumbai, has been included in the team squad.

Kotian not only bowls brilliant off-spin like Ashwin, but he also scores centuries in the lower order. This is the reason why the selectors, captain Rohit Sharma and Team India’s head coach Gautam Gambhir have expressed confidence in this youngster despite having experienced spinners like Akshar Patel and Kuldeep Yadav. At the same time, an innings of Tanush, who went on the Australia tour, is being discussed a lot on social media. He scored a century by batting explosively at number 9.
