Rishabh Pant may be dropped from the Melbourne Test!

Team India’s wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant may be dropped from the next match to be held in Melbourne. His performance has not been anything special in this series so far. Along with the bat, the ball is not supporting him behind the wicket as well. He has dropped many catches so far in this series. Talking about his batting, he has scored only 96 runs in the three matches played so far, in which his highest score has been 37 runs.

If Rishabh Pant is dropped from the Boxing Day Test, KL Rahul can be given the responsibility of wicketkeeping in his place. Although Team India has an option in the form of Dhruv Jurel, it seems difficult for him to get a place in the playing 11. He was given a chance in the first match played in Perth but his performance was not very good. In the Perth match, he was able to score only 12 runs in 2 innings. In such a situation, KL Rahul can be seen playing for Team India as an opening batsman as well as a wicketkeeper.

Sarfaraz may get a place in the playing 11

With Rishabh Pant being out, if Dhruv Jurel is not included in the team, then Sarfaraz Khan can get a chance in his place. Sarfaraz Khan has not played a single Test match on this tour so far. Due to this, the team management can consider including him in the playing 11. Sarfaraz has faced many ups and downs in his early career. But till now his place in the playing 11 has not been confirmed.
