Team India: Team India’s WTC cycle will end after the Border Gavaskar Trophy. The next cycle will start in June by playing a five-match Test series against England. India has to tour England for a Test series with the English team. After this, India has to face West Indies at home. Here the host has to play two matches in this series with the Caribbean players. In such a situation, a lot of changes can be seen in the Indian team. Which player can BCCI give a chance, this is the big question.

If we talk about the captaincy of Team India in the Test series against England, then a change seems possible. After the current tour of Australia, there is a discussion that if India does not reach the WTC final, then Rohit’s captaincy may be in danger. Even if India reaches the final, he can retire from Tests after that. Because his Test form is not good. This is the reason why Jasprit Bumrah can take over the captaincy.

The responsibility of vice-captaincy can be handed over to Rishabh Pant

Not only this, Jasprit Bumrah can take over the captaincy against West Indies on home ground. He can take over the captaincy because he is currently the vice-captain of India in Tests. He is also performing very well. Not only this, while captaining against Australia in Perth, he also led Team India to victory. In such a situation, he can get this responsibility. The vice-captaincy can remain on the shoulders of Rishabh Pant. Pant is also a great player in Test cricket. In such a situation, he can get the responsibility of the Test team.

Tanush can replace R Ashwin

Apart from this, if we talk about other players, after the retirement of R Ashwin, Team India will need a spinner like him. Especially in the series against West Indies because it will be a series on home ground, in which spinners dominate. Tanush Kotian can get a chance as a spinner. He has taken 101 wickets in 33 domestic matches. Mohammed Shami can also make a comeback. It is known that Shami has been out for a long time. Due to injury, he was not selected for the current Australia tour. But he can make a comeback against England and West Indies.
