The Indian team, which went on a tour to Australia for the Border Gavaskar Trophy 2024-25, is playing the second match from December 6. The Kangaroo players have shown a great performance in this match going on at the Adelaide Oval. After bowling, the host team was also successful in dominating the batting. But on the second day of the match, there has been a big uproar over the wicket of Mitchell Marsh.

Actually, what happened was that the third ball of the 58th over of Australia’s innings was bowled by Ravichandran Ashwin to Mitchell Marsh. The batsman tried to play the length ball coming in from the off stump by coming forward. But he could not understand the line and the ball hit his pad.

Virat Kohli was seen talking to the umpire

After the ball hit the pad, Ravichandran Ashwin and Team India appealed for LBW, which was rejected by the umpire. In such a situation, Rohit Sharma turned to DRS after discussing with fellow players. However, despite watching the replay, the umpire was unable to give Mitchell Marsh out and the third umpire declared Mitchell Marsh not out citing lack of conclusive evidence.

It appeared in the TV replays that the ball had hit the pad first. Former captain Virat Kohli was seen talking to the fielding umpire and he said that KL Rahul was also given out in the same way in the Perth Test match. But the umpire remained firm on his decision. Due to this, he is now facing the anger of Indian fans on social media.
