Shubman Gill will not play in the practice match

After winning the Perth Test, now the visiting India has to play a practice match with Australia’s Prime Minister’s 11. This match will be played between 30 November and 1 December. Let us tell you that this match is not a part of the Border Gavaskar Trophy and Team India will play this match only as a practice. If the report quoted by Times of India is to be believed, then after the Perth Test, it is not certain that Indian batsman Shubman Gill will play in this match as well. Let us tell you that before the Perth Test, his finger was injured during practice. 

Shubman Gill’s injury becomes a problem, there is a danger of him being out of the last 4 Tests

Team India’s batsman Shubman Gill got injured even before the start of the Border Gavaskar Trophy on the tour of Australia. Due to this, he had to sit out of the first match played in Perth. He suffered a finger injury during practice. Shubman Gill is a brilliant batsman for Team India and his bat thunders fiercely in Australia.

Devdutt Padikal will get a chance

Until Shubman Gill fully recovers from his injury, Devdutt Padikkal can be seen batting at number 3 for Team India. He was also included in the team in place of Gill in the Perth Test. However, his performance was not special in both the innings.

If he performs well in the practice match against Prime Minister’s 11, it may be difficult for the selectors to exclude him from the playing 11. However, there is no information yet whether Gill will be fit for the Adelaide Test starting on December 6.
