INDW vs PAKW: India beats Pakistan Women T20 World Cup 2024:
India has defeated Pakistan by 6 wickets in the Women’s T20 World Cup 2024. This is India’s first win in this World Cup, before this, under the captaincy of Harmanpreet Kaur, Team India lost to New Zealand by 58 runs. Pakistan had earlier defeated India in T20 matches only 3 times, while this is India’s 13th win against its neighboring country. So let’s know what were the 3 main reasons for India’s victory this time.
1. Batting took over
If we recall the match against New Zealand, the highest score for India was made by captain Harmanpreet Kaur. She scored 15 runs, which gives an idea of how bad India’s performance was in the last match. But the Indian batsmen performed well against arch-rival Pakistan. Smriti Mandhana was however dismissed after scoring 7 runs, but on the slow pitches of Dubai, especially Shefali Verma played an important innings of 32 runs and captain Harmanpreet of 29 runs. Jemima Rodrigues also contributed 23 runs. This time the batsmen played their role very well.
2. The magic of Arundhati Roy
Arundhati Roy is currently in a good rhythm. She bowled 4 overs in the match against Pakistan, conceding only 19 runs and taking 3 important wickets.
