The first T20 match between India and Bangladesh is to be played in Gwalior today. Before the match, the players of Team India sweated a lot on the field, BCCI has also shared a video of the training session on social media. In this video, Washington Sundar, Rinku Singh and Nitish Kumar Reddy were also seen practicing hitting long sixes. Whenever a player hit a six in the practice session, captain Suryakumar reacted like a cheerleader.
Meanwhile, he also trolled Washington Sundar. Actually, Sundar hit a great aerial shot during practice, on which Surya said, “Brother, he is not coming back from Gabba.” After hearing this comment, Sundar was also seen smiling. Suryakumar mentioned Gabba because Sundar had made an important contribution to India’s victory in the Test match played at Gabba Ground in the year 2021. He had made an important contribution of 62 runs in the first innings and 22 runs in the second innings.
If we look at Suryakumar Yadav’s captaincy, India has played 10 T20 matches under him so far, out of which the team has won 7 matches, lost 2 and one match was tied. The series against Bangladesh will start from October 6 and will run till October 12 and during this time 3 T20 matches will be played between the two teams.

Before the start of the T20 series against Bangladesh, Team India captain Suryakumar Yadav had said that Sanju Samson and Abhishek Sharma will open the innings in all three T20 matches against Bangladesh. On the other hand, Shivam Dubey is out of the series due to a back injury and has been replaced by Tilak Verma.
