  • The 2024 Women’s T20 World Cup is starting from today i.e. Thursday, October 3. The first match of the tournament will be played between Bangladesh and Scotland.

Womens T20 World Cup 2024:

T20 World Cup 2024 will start from today. The thrill of two matches will be seen on the very first day of the tournament. Two matches will be seen today (October 03) i.e. on the first day in the Women’s T20 World Cup 2024 to be played in Dubai and Sharjah. The first match of the tournament will be played between the women’s teams of Bangladesh and Scotland. At the same time, the second match will be played between the women’s teams of Pakistan and Sri Lanka. 

The match between Bangladesh and Scotland will be played in Sharjah from 3:30 pm according to Indian time. Then the second match between Pakistan and Sri Lanka will be played in Sharjah from 7:30 pm. Team India’s first match in the tournament will be seen on Sunday, October 4. Team India will clash with New Zealand. 

Let us tell you that the final of the Women’s T20 World Cup starting today will be played on Sunday, October 20. A total of 23 matches will be seen within 18 days. Earlier this tournament was to be held in Bangladesh, but seeing the situation there, the ICC decided to shift it from there. This is the 9th edition of the tournament. 

A total of 10 teams are participating in the tournament, which have been divided into two groups. Australia, India, New Zealand, Pakistan and Sri Lanka are placed in Group A. Bangladesh, England, Scotland, South Africa and West Indies are placed in Group B.
