On reaching Chennai on 26 February, Dhoni’s T-shirt was seen with ‘One last time’ written on it. However, it was not written in clear words but in a code, which when decoded created a stir on social media.

Dhoni recently spoke ahead of IPL 2025 about what motivates him to keep moving forward in the IPL even at the age of 43. The former Chennai Super Kings captain, who has won the IPL title 5 times, said that he has to work at least 6-8 months a year to be ready for two months of IPL.

Dhoni will be seen playing in the IPL starting March 22. In IPL 2024, Dhoni took part in all 14 matches for Chennai Super Kings and scored 161 runs at an extraordinary strike rate of 220.
