Discussions were going on for a long time that this couple might separate, which has now been confirmed. On 20 February, Chahal (Yuzvendra Chahal) and Dhanashree Verma reached the family court in Bandra, Mumbai. Where the divorce of both the couples has been officially approved. Chahal and Dhanashree Verma were living separately for about 18 months and during this time both of them were also sharing many cryptic stories on their Instagram handles.

According to the report of ABP News, the divorce of Chahal (Yuzvendra Chahal) and Dhanashree Verma has been confirmed. Chahal and Dhanashree reached the Bandra Family Court in Mumbai separately at 4 pm on February 20 and the couple was present there during the hearing. After the hearing, the court directed both of them to participate in a counseling session which lasted for about 45 minutes. It was said in the counseling that both are separating with mutual consent.

During this, the couple also said that both of them had been living separately for about 18 months, after which the judge officially approved their divorce. Now both of them have officially separated. However, no statement has come from Chahal (Yuzvendra Chahal) or Dhanashree regarding the divorce yet.

Both of them told the court that they were separating due to compatibility issues. At the same time, sources said that after appearing before the judge, further proceedings of divorce have been completed. It is also being told that Yuzvendra Chahal will give Rs 60 crore to his wife Dhanashree as alimony. At the same time, before reaching the court, Dhanashree had also shared a story on Instagram in which she gave special emphasis on some lines, in which it was written that  

“You can either keep worrying or you can leave everything to God and choose to pray about everything. There is power in having faith that God can work all things together for your good.”
