Ravi Shastri called New Zealand the most dangerous team, not India and Australia, in the ICC event. He believes that this team is quite balanced. The former coach has praised many Kiwi players including Kane Williamson, Rachin Ravindra, and Daryl Mitchell. He believes that these players have proved useful many times, and can become a threat to others in the upcoming tournament. Along with this, he has also described the Pakistan team as dreaded at home.
Shastri called New Zealand dangerous
Ravi Shastri said in the ICC review about the New Zealand team,
“I think they are a dangerous team. I think Kane Williamson will provide a lot of stability to the middle order. You know, Rachin Ravindra is also a dangerous player there. They have players who support the team completely and come forward when needed. You know they have Daryl Mitchell. Will O’Rourke bowls very fast and you know, he can prove to be useful.”
